North of Longfellow sits the neighborhood of Beacon Hill. Spanning over nearly 90 acres, this urbanistic neighborhood provides a panoramic view of downtown. Beacon Hill lies in a prime location with walking distance to Crown Center, Hospital Hill, and Union Station. The design of this neighborhood features a traditional style with a pedestrian orientation. Within Beacon Hill you will also find a community center, retail live/work spaces, and commercial lofts. 

Insights of the Neighborhood

Beacon Hill currently offers over 300 new building sites for single-family houses that include both attached and detached structures. This neighborhood also consists of 100 completely renovated historic and traditional Kansas City homes. With new sewers, utilities, streets, and landscaping this neighborhood will ensure you a worry free home that you would expect from any top quality neighborhood. Beacon Hill additionally provides housing for the elderly, as the historic Robinson Hospital has been transformed into what is now called the Residences of West Paseo.
